Murals with 4 year olds at Wings on Words Summer program.  Art is used to facilitate the use of language in this program set up for delayed language learners.

Watercolor from observation with kindergarten at Wings on Words. As the artist in residence for their summer Soaring program, I develop a month-long art intensive aimed at supporting language skills for delayed language learners. This summer we looked at all things botanical and connected the learning to healthy foods……. lots of fruits and veggies.

Sustainable architecture design for School of the Future Design Competition. Imago Dei Middle School students, pictured here at the competition n Washington, DC,  design a green school made of water bottles and bamboo for students in the Republic of Niger…..and take home the first place national award.
